Shellharbour City Rookie League

In partnership with the Kiama Basketball Association, Shellharbour City Basketball Club is thrilled to announce the Rookie League for Term 3, 2024. This new league will bring together mixed teams of boys and girls from Shellharbour and Kiama in a vibrant and competitive environment between representative seasons.

Open to all age groups from U12 to U18, as per the 2024 rep divisions, the league will also include development and invitational players who can benefit from a higher level of play. The Rookie League isn’t about winning; it’s a dedicated platform for growth and development. Each game provides young athletes with the chance to sharpen their skills, enhance their teamwork, and embrace the excitement of competitive sports.

The Rookie League is designed not only for players but also as a dynamic arena for coaches to advance their expertise. Each game offers coaches the opportunity to refine their strategies and improve their coaching techniques. Coaches are committed to guiding players through strategic play, skill enhancement, and fostering sportsmanship.
