Our referees are ambassadors of the sport, and their behaviour should exemplify the values of respect, integrity, and sportsmanship. Continuous Improvement: Our referees are encouraged to strive for continuous improvement in their officiating skills and knowledge of the sport. Referees must show respect to all game participants, especially score table officials, senior referees, and the Referee Coordinator and Assessor. Membership Requirements: All Shellharbour referees must have a valid BNSW membership and Shellharbour Bulls membership prior to any assessment or issuing of uniforms. This ensures that all our officials are recognised and supported within the broader basketball community, and that they adhere to the standards and guidelines set by the sport's governing bodies.
